HomeThe Bliss Story... Veggie Fine Dining & ArtspaceApr 2, 2008
Bliss was established in July 2004...and has run continuously since. Hotel Elizabeth is it's third creative effort to find the right space and vibe (which we feel we have) and we hope it will be here for a very very long time. 90% of Bliss guests are NOT vegetarian...relax. The food is very eclectic and we are sure you'll be smiling as you head out the door. And if you are that rare 10%...an honest to goodness 'Vegetarian' well...you have found your refuge. If you're really ENTHUSIASTIC... the best way to show it is to give us 'three hits' on our Balinese Gong you'll see on our 'World Peace Stage'. .
.Bliss is about a lot of things beyond sentient food. It's meant to be about fellowship, social activism in a cafe environment and about art and music 'intertwined' with food to create a better and more compassionate world. .
It's a cliche that veggie restos around the world 'have an agenda'. Well, that's true perhaps, but if it's a positive agenda, ok lang. O 'di ba? .
 .Breathe...Smile...Eat (your veggies)...and enjoy your/our BLISS.

Hello !

Have a wonderful WEEKEND!

Do You like it the music ?

It's a my song, I'm the songwriter!

Üdv: László

Here is the english songtext!

CHILLY WINDS (HIDEG SZÉL)

Chilly winds are rustling on my door
There's a twilight in my room.
An old song is playing from Adamo,
Saying farwell to you.

Remembrance of the good old days
Already has gone away,
I'm in pain of delusion,
But I'm still in love with you.

After all these hours have gone away
Rememberances fly away
I don't want you to love any more, still
Have been waiting for you.

Chilly winds are rustling on my door
There's a twilight in my room.
An old song is playing from Adamo,
Saying farwell to you.

hi Jim,

I actually spent more time in the theater the night I arrived :-) Had dinner there, and met Rina-san, Jun-san, Lisa-san and Mitsu-san (hope I got the spelling right for the last).

The next time I arrived back in Osaka from Matsue, I managed to catch the start and middle of their hip-hop activity (made me think we are lucky here in the Philippines because music like that is more common and easy to reach)..

I missed the calligraphy sessions though...oh well...

Funnily, it was only in Osaka I felt the cold when I went to sleep :-)

How to add ‘ BLISS ‘ to your life…..from Manila Go to Victory Liner Terminal closest to you. Buy ticket….board bus for 5 to 7 hour journey. Some tips while in transit : Don’t buy the ‘ special ‘ chicharon cuz it’s not, don’t watch the violent yucky films, drink plenty of water (hydrate) on your trip AND pee when necessary. Arriving in Baguio tell taxi ‘ Hotel Elizabeth, Gibraltar Road Please…’ Be surprised when you get exact change at destination… Walk into lobby….sit down at BLISS. Eat/Pray/Love…Bliss style Take Victory back to Manila Quit job, pack, farewell to friends and family…move to Baguio. Be happy everafter….and (oh) eat daily at BLISS. The end….
